Since it's a Portuguese water dog, I was thinking of either PORTO or SCUBA (great swimmers).
If she's a female, maybe LINDA (means pretty in Portuguese).

We have three great ideas for names: (1) "Scully" (Pilot who landed in the water. You will have a water dog, possibly). (2) "Teddy"/"Tedi", if female (Kennedy). (3) "Deecee" (D.C.). Enjoy your new family member! - Bob and Deb

I met you in Hawaii right before Christmas while you were golfing at Mid-Pac. My name is Zaboo (also spelt Zabu) and I am 4 years old. I think you should name your daughters' dog after me because I love lemurs and dogs and all animals.
