Obama dog search goes to funny papers
We don't read the funny papers much anymore, but now there's a reason to start. The comic strip Mutts, by Patrick O'Donnell, will focus on the Obama family's hunt for the perfect dog starting on Monday. No surprise: The main characters are Mooch the Cat and Earl the Dog, and O'Donnell is a big supporter of animal adoption. The strip is syndicated in more than 700 newspapers. So check it out.

"Mutts" is a cute comic that reminds readers to remember shelter dogs. I think it's cool that the strip is on the Obama family bandwagon!
